Job Summary
The Finance Lead supports the Head of Finance & Strategy in managing Kristal Media’s financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate month-end closings, timely submission of reports to management and stakeholders, and adherence to accounting standards such as IFRS. The Finance Lead will also supervise the finance team to maintain financial integrity, strengthen internal controls, and enhance system efficiency across all business unit.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, quarterly reporting packs, and annual group consolidation reports.
Track company budgets, monitor OPEX and CAPEX spending, and analyse variances.
Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
Coordinate external and internal audit activities, ensuring full compliance and documentation readiness.
Ensure adherence to IFRS and Darussalam Assets reporting requirements.
Lead improvements in the Autocount Accounting System and other finance automation initiatives.
Supervise and guide the finance team (Accounts Payable, Business Analyst, Audit/Procurement Support).
Support financial forecasting, planning, and analysis for strategic decision-making.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role is an advantage.
Strong understanding of IFRS principles.
Hands-on experience in month-end closing, management reporting, and audit coordination.
Familiarity with Autocount Accounting System or similar ERP software.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
